Electrical Steels

These are unique materials whose high magnetic permeability and low iron core losses are forged on the molecular level.  Electrical steel properties are achieved by processing extremely pure steel through hot rolling, cold rolling, and annealing.

Electrical Steels are ideal for the following applications:

• high efficiency transformers
• generators and motors
• ballasts and small transformers

• complete range of non oriented fully processed motor and generator grades
• domain refined Hi B steels
• conventional grain oriented steels
• light gauge non oriented generator grades (.005' and .007') for high frequency applications
• non oriented semi processed steels sold in the not finally annealed condition
